Beginners Patchwork Class

 

 

Join our beginner’s patchwork class and learn the techniques to open up the world of Patchwork and Quilting. You will learn the basics from cutting to piecing and on through to quilting and learning how to bind your quilt with our very experienced tutor.

The class will run for 3 weeks starting on Saturday 12th April, there will then be a break over Easter and Anzac which will give you time to do some homework, with the next 2 classes being on Saturday 3rd & 10th May. The classes will start at 9.30am through to 2.30pm. The class fee is $120.00 plus you will need to purchase the patchwork fabrics and basic patchwork equipment.
Spaces are limited so ring now or pop in to pay for your class and secure your seat.

Star Block Quilt Class 

 

 

 

Our tutor has been busy getting the Star Quilt ready for a new class. You will need to be a confident beginner, or of an intermediate ability to do this class, and you will have homework that must be completed to enable you to finish the quilt top within the 5 weeks.

The class will start on Thursday 3rd April and run for 3 weeks, with a break over Easter and ANZAC week, this would also enable you to have a bit of a catch up if you needed to, with the last 2 classes being on the 1st and 8th May. The classes will start at 9:30 am and run through to 2:30 pm. The class fee is $180.00, plus you will need to purchase the patchwork fabrics to construct this quilt top which measures approximately 61" x 78". If you wish you can easily make this quilt a 78" square quilt.

The quilting and binding will be left up to you to complete, or given the size, you may want to pay to have it long-arm quilted by Kirsty. Spaces are limited, so ring now or pop in to pay for your class and secure your seat.

WE HAVE NO ON-SITE PARKING FOR DAY CLASSES

You will need to park your car either on the street for free and move every hour or pay for the Wilson's car park at the end of the cul-de-sac.

*All classes are subject to a minimum number of participants. The classes may be postponed if unable to fill the required amount of seats.
